only 4 of us today including the big sis..we're having our circle in one of our friend's room.. while discussing, we're having some snacks ^^
as usual we open our session with Quranic recitation..suratul Kahfi verse 1 till 15..then we revise the meaning of those versus..
the the topic of interest today is about PROUD..to make things easy, let me bring you to a simple analogy..as a doctor for example we diagnose a patient when the patient complaint of certain symptoms..then we treat accordingly..but let say, a cancer patient, they not usually presented early, there are some cancers where the patient only seek medical attention after the disease has spread all over the body or when the patient start to manifest certain symptoms..we're human, there are so much that we do not know and expert on..so be a modest person and keep on learning..to realize how little knowledge that we have may help us in being a modest person and not to brag a lot..
Allah has remind us in al-Baqarah verse 34 when the devil disobeyed Allah because of the sense of pride..
وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblîs(Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allâh).
then we're discussing bout the latest controversial issue..Dr M speech regarding hudud law..hudud is not an easy law, to implement the there are few requirement that must be fulfilled..the problem in our country is those who're not expert are talking as if they know well bout the subjects..it's not a simple matter plus it involves our faith as a Muslim..honestly i dunno much bout hudud so i don't dare to talk much bout it..but the reason of not knowing it doesn't mean that we have to ignore it..so take the chance to learn it well aye ^^
